This AIA accredited course presented by the Ceramic Tile Distributors Association (CTDA) educates specifiers on several important aspects of sustainability and green building as it relates to ceramic tile. During the course, attendees will learn about product performance and product transparency in the ceramic tile and overall flooring industry.

Learning Objectives:
Participants will learn the importance industry standards in sustainability and how the three major areas of importance covered by the industry standard: Product characteristics, Manufacturing, and End of Life scenarios.
Participants will learn about the Green Squared certification program for ceramic tile and related products. What a certified product means and how to determine if products they're specifying are Green Squared certified.
Participants will learn why material and material ingredient transparency is important when selecting products for specification.
Participants will learn about environmental transparency and how to find and determine which products they're considering specifying have Environmental Produce Declarations as well as how to compare products' EPDs.
