Buddy Ontra has worked in the natural stone industry since 1982, mostly as a residential countertop fabricator with several years of commercial installation experience. He opened Ontra Stone in 2005, a Natural Stone Institute Accredited residential fabricator in Bridgeport Ct. Buddy is a frequent speaker at stone industry events both domestically and internationally. He is a CEU speaker, stone industry consultant, and natural stone/ceramic tile installation inspector. He has written several articles for “Stone World” magazine. Buddy served on the NSI/MIA Board of Directors 2016-2023 including as 2022 President. He is currently a consultant and project manger with Bostone.
