Sam Robinson is a flooring professional and next-generation leader at Ultimate Flooring, a family-owned flooring business in Ohio. She began working in the industry at age 15 and now plays a key role in sales, customer experience, operations, and community outreach alongside her business partner and mentor, Anna McCortney.

As a young woman building a career in a traditionally male-dominated trade, Sam is focused on mentorship, workforce development, and creating clear pathways into the skilled trades. She is actively involved with Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates (JOG) and works closely with students and young professionals to share practical insight into careers within the flooring industry.

Sam regularly attends major industry events, including The International Surface Event (TISE) and Coverings, and contributes to ongoing conversations around industry education, business growth, and the future of the trades. Her work centers on blending foundational flooring knowledge with modern approaches to customer engagement, storytelling, and talent development.

She is committed to helping strengthen the flooring industry by making it more accessible, inclusive, and sustainable for the next generation of professionals.
