I am Bernie Van Etten, President of Murphy Marble company . Our company was started by my great grandfather in 1899. Part of the Fourth generation, my 2 brothers, a sister and I are still running the same business from the same location 120 years later. Located in Chicago, our business invlolves fabricating and Installing all types of stone with the same basic blue print my great grandfather established.
Our family business is simliar to the thousands of others with many challenges and opportunities presented daily, Fortunately we are in the best and one of the oldest business sectors known to man - The stone business . I am Past President of Allied Stone Industried. Past Boad Member of Marble Instittue of America and Natural Stone Institute
