Suzi Portugal is the Founder and Vice President of Design and Global Sourcing at Luxe Studio Designs, a tile and stone studio specializing in bespoke, branded collections for the luxury design market.
Luxe Studio Designs was founded to address a gap in the industry: the need for highly customized materials that go beyond stocked offerings, allowing brands, designers, and developers to express a distinct and cohesive identity through surface design.
Prior to founding Luxe Studio Designs, Suzi served as the driving force behind design and global sourcing at Mosaic Companies. There, she led the development of a broad and commercially successful portfolio of tile and stone collections for Walker Zanger, Anthology, Surfaces, select home centers, and other established brands.
Formally trained in interior design, Suzi brings decades of hands-on experience in tile, stone, and product development. Her career spans concept creation, global sourcing, manufacturing partnerships, brand positioning, and market launches across residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors. She has built long-standing relationships with manufacturers and artisans worldwide, contributing to her reputation as a respected and influential industry figure.
